• Visual Representations with Word Clouds
  • Task: Choose a text that you use with students. Create a word cloud and potential appropriate pre-, during, and post-reading activities. Think about individual and pair/group activities. (no account needed at Wordle)

  • Task: Create a concept map for an upcoming unit of study.
    • Create an account at the website of your choice.
    • Gather the appropriate visuals and links to support a rich concept map.

• Video with Animoto
  • Task: Create a 30 second video about your school, your classroom, your students, an upcoming unit of study, a past unit of study, or a topic of your choice.
    • Identify a message you would like to convey.
    • Locate images that you can use (be sure the images are available to you with regard to copyright) and have them saved to your device. You can use your own photos/video if you wish!
    • Log in to animoto and create a 30 second video.
• Multimedia posters at Glogster.
  • Task: Create a glogster multimedia poster that incorporates text, visuals, and video.
    • Create an account at Glogster EDU
    • Gather the appropriate media and links to support a rich concept map.
    • Create your poster
